Cherry Parsons Associate
Cherry is a passionate designer with a keen interest in urban renewal and sustainable community development. She has worked across a broad range of projects including educational, residential, commercial, public spaces and community development. Cherry has been involved in the design and construction of a 6-Star Green Star Tertiary Research Facility and was project architect for alterations and additions work to a high-end Merewether residence.
To further her education, Cherry has been involved in Community Design/Build projects in both Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands as well as professional development in New York. She is also involved with the Emerging Graduate and Architect Networks organisation (Sydney, Newcastle) that aims to foster a culture of design and generate public discourse within the community. Cherry sits on the Property Council of Australia’s NSW Hunter Future Directions Committee which is a well-established networking group for emerging leaders within the property industry.
In 2014 Cherry was the recipient of the National Dulux Study Tour Award for emerging architects.
